Greetings,
This holiday season, the Water Environment Federation’s Students & Young Professionals Committee would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the volunteers, sponsors, donors and supporters of this year’s WEF Community Service Project, NOLA Grows Green, The City Hall Stormwater Project.
With your generous support, we were able to install a 1,210-ft2 bioswale, a 180-ft2 rain garden, 500 containers of native grasses and flowers, and 5 black gum trees at City Hall! This green infrastructure will capture stormwater onsite with enough storage for the typical 1 or 2-year storm events.
We hope you enjoy a few snapshots and a video of this year’s project:

Thank you again for all you helped us accomplish in 2016!
Warm regards,
WEF’s Students & Young Professionals Committee
